Missouri Students Encouraged to Help Joplin Kids

Through Kids 4 Kids, students can participate in a statewide effort that will help Joplin children suffering in the aftermath of the May 22 tornado. If every public school student in Missouri donates just $1, we could collectively raise nearly $1 million in aid.
Local school officials say the greatest need is cash donations to provide assistance to their students. Monetary donations can be made directly to the school district. A special fund has been set up for tornado relief. Schools or families can make checks payable to Joplin Schools Tornado Relief Fund and mail to the attention of Kim Vann, Joplin Public Schools, North Middle School, 102 Gray, Joplin, Mo., 64801.
Students, educators and parents can also download this flyer to spread the word at their school.
