Spotlight

At the annual USBLN Summit held in Louisville, KY,  the Greater Kansas City BLN was presented the Affiliate of the Year award, accepted by Lori Maher, Executive Director.   The Lead Employer is  AMC Theatres headquartered in Kansas City, MO accepted by Keith Wiedenkeller.  AMC Theatres was  the 2008  winner of the Governor’s Council on Disability’s Inclusion Award for  Employer of the Year.

The Business Leadership Network initiative is a business to business initiative that promotes best practices in hiring people with disabilities. In the state of Missouri, there are two BLNs: Missouri BLN in the St. Louis region and GKC BLN in the Kansas City region. Congratulations to the Greater Kansas City BLN!
